The French versions of the regular McDonald's Collection 2019 were exclusively released in the French-speaking parts of Canada and Belgium. The McDonald's Collection 2019 set was released in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, and Portuguese. All cards were available as both non-holo and Confetti Holofoil. The French McDonald's Collection 2019 was, as its name suggest, exclusively released in French. Set lists English McDonald's Collection 2019 French Pokémon-themed Happy Meals were not accompanied by a toy and instead came with a 4-card mini booster pack containing 2 Non Holofoil cards and 2 Confetti Holofoil cards. The French collection once again consists of 40 cards: each card comes in Non Holofoil and Confetti Holofoil versions, creating a master set of 80 cards. A random card and an accompanying Pokémon toy was included in every Pokémon-themed Happy Meal during the promotional period or while stocks lasted.

The English collection comprises 12 reprints of cards sourced from several Sun & Moon Series expansions that feature an exclusive Confetti Holofoil treatment. As with the previous annual collection, a separate collection was released in France from October 30, 2019. It was first available in the United States from October 15 through to November 11, 2019, followed by a release in Germany from November 7, 2019, and a release in the United Kingdom between January 1 and 28, 2020. The McDonald's Collection 2019 is a limited set of cards available from participating McDonald's restaurants in late 2019.
